Parents and Students,

I have updated chemistry grades in the database. The include our first two benchmarks quizzes of the year. I am very happy with the results - the vast majority of students easily passed both benchmarks. Students earn NO SCORE for the benchmark until they pass with a score of 75% or better. Students may earn up to 100% on retakes.

As I communicated last week, a significant number of students have not completed two VERY easy assignments: 1. Sign up for online textbook access. The students were given the information in class, in printed form, for accessing the online textbook at www.pearsonsuccessnet.com 2. Returning a signed parent letter. Many of my students in afternoon classes participate in athletics. When they miss an assignment, or must leave for competition before completing an assignment, then they will still be able to earn those points. They just need to see me outside of class hours for help, if needed.
