JME - Java Molecular Editor


JME - A Browser-based Molecular Editor

As described on the JME website:JME Molecular Editor is a Java applet which allows you to draw/edit molecules and reactions and to display molecules directly within an HTML page. The editor can generate Daylight SMILES or MDL mol file of created molecules, SMARTS substructure queries, or reaction SMIRKS.

You have to enable Java and JavaScritpt on your machine !

Keyboard shortcuts
bonds -,=,# rings 3..8, Ph is 1, furyl 0 atoms C,N,O,P,S,F,L,B,I,H groups t - tert.butyl, ft - CF3, y - nitro, a - COOH, z - SO2NH2
d - delete Esc - return to the standard state (C, single bond)
molecule may by moved by "dragging" free space and rotated by pressing concurrently also the shift key
