Featured Molecule

The featured molecule is cholesterol, a waxy steroid that is a component of cell membranes in all animal cells. Viewing the molecules in the library requires that you have a Java enables browser to take advantage of the Jmol applet. I have switched from using Chime to using Jmol, which makes it easier for most visitors to make use of this feature. More information on Jmol can be obtained at the Jmol website. |
